Papa Joe, the father of Jessica Simpson is said to be upset with her fiance Eric Johnson over his employment status. An earlier item from Jessica Warren reveals Joe is unhappy that Eric is unemployed.
Dad is worried the husband might use his daughter, according to the item from celebrity weekly magazine In Touch.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Jessica is looking forward to the wedding and has been practicing her parenting skills on fiancé Eric Johnson's pet pooch.
The 30-year-old singer, whose own dog Maltipoo died in 2009 after being snatched by a coyote, said that it is like having a new dog all over again.
"His name's Bentley, he's an Airedale terrier [and] he's adorable," she told People magazine. "He's the best dog. I love him to death. "At first he would growl at me, and now he comes and snuggles up to me," she said. "It's like I have a brand new dog."
And she added that they will be looking to extend their doggy family even more. "Eventually, I think we want to get something," she said. "Whoever Bentley will get along with."
