Today was the championship game of the FIFA Women's World Cup held in Frankfurt, Germany. I don't watch soccer on a regular basis, but I think I'll make the championship game an exception, especially since Team USA was there! The game between USA and Japan was a great game with the game concluding at the very end when both teams over the time limit and overtime periods participated in penalty kicks. In the end, Japan was the victor who came out on top, having scored 3 vs. 1 of the penalty kicks. Though Japan ended up winning, both teams played very hard and fought until the very end.

Yes, I'm an American so of course I rooted for the US but it was nice seeing Japan win despite the struggles they have fought for this past year, especially in the beginning of the year. With the constant earthquakes and giant tsunami that ravaged a great part of Northern Japan, it's nice to know that with hope and faith, one can overcome anything. This win was well deserved indeed.

You Just Do You, Imma Do Me
