Oscar Nominations 2011 Announced This Morning!
As we all know, awards season is here! Coming up very soon is the king of award shows: THE ACADEMY AWARDS! Two weeks ago, the Golden Globes were on, which pretty much predicted who might be nominated for an Oscar. This morning the results are in, check the official website for a list for all the nominees: http://www.oscars.org/awards/academyawards/83/nominees.html
Leading the pack is "The King's Speech" with 10 nominations. Being a more serious awards show that recognizes true talent in great movies of the year, there is no more Angelina Jolie or Johnny Depp. Mark Wahlberg got snubbed for the Best Actor nominee in "The Fighter", along with Ryan Gosling "Blue Valentine", Julianne Moore "The Kids Are All Right", Andrew Garfield "The Social Network", and Mila Kunis "Black Swan." Here's a list of some of the biggest nominations of the night, and my predictions on the winners for each category based on critics' reviews. :P
