A few days ago, reports did the rounds that Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan had secretly married his longtime love interest Isha Sharvani. Both Zaheer and Isha were quick to quash the reports as unfounded gossip, and also denied rumours that they had started living together.

Now, reports coming in seem to suggest that Zaheer and Isha are planning to get engaged. The couple has been insisting that they are "close friends" for quite a while now, although a section of the press some time ago reported that they were headed for a split.

The subsequent buzz was that they had patched up. The latest on the couple is that they could be engaged by the end of this year.

However, sources close to the actress said the couple's marriage was not immediately on the cards. Well, only time will tell whether or not the two will marry this year.
