Danielle Staub

Danielle Staub, born Beverly Ann Merrill; July 29, 1962 is an American television personality, author, singer  best known for her appearance on the Bravo reality series Real Housewives of New Jersey and adult performer. 

During the first season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, participants in the reality show confronted Staub with Charles Kipps's book Cop Without a Badge, which recounts events surrounding an undercover FBI informer Kevin Maher, one of Staub's former husbands, including an account of Staub's arrest. Known at the time as Beverly Ann Merrill, Staub cooperated with authorities and received five years probation. Although Staub has acknowledged that she was arrested in June of 1986, she denies many of the other allegations made by Maher. Staub's autobiographical book, The Naked Truth, was released on May 25, 2010, and in it she claims that her arrest was a matter of "wrong place/wrong time".

Staub has also received media attention for a sex tape which was stolen from her (according to Staub) or which was deliberately released by Staub (according to an unnamed source quoted by Jacqueline Laurita).

In September 2010, she appeared on the Style Network's comedy program, The Dish. She acted in several sketches, including a surprise cold open where she tried to take over as the show's host after leaving the real presenter, Danielle Fishel, bound and gagged backstage. The appearance gained media attention after one particular sketch which some say was a parody of Staub's castmate Teresa Guidice "like a, freaken caged animal at the zoo" by portraying her as a monkey.

After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed by Bravo that Staub would not be returning to the show for season 3. The reason for her departure was unannounced.

In June 2010, her Wayne, New Jersey home, which had been featured on the Real Houswives, was put up for sale.

In 2011, Staub, along with Heidi Montag of The Hills and Jake Pavelka of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, began filming an upcoming food-related reality series for VH1, in which they are said to be "revamping a restaurant from the ground up.

May 2011, she signed a 3 year deal with Scores Gentleman's Club as a fully nude stripper and star in adult online content.

Days after signing her contract for adult performances, Staub announced she is seeking psychological and addiction treatment and has "walked away" from the deal.

Caroline Manzo

Caroline Manzo, born August 23, 1961 is married to Albert Manzo, co-owner of The Brownstone, an event and catering facility in Paterson, New Jersey. The couple have three children: Albert "Albie" Manzo IV (born in 1986), Lauren Michelle Manzo born in 1988, and Christopher Thomas Manzo (born in 1989).
She, along with most of her The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast mates, resides in the affluent town of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Her most memorable line of the first season became a pop culture meme: "Let me tell you something about my family, we are as thick as thieves and we will protect each other until the end." She is known to use many sayings such as "thick as thieves" and "you hang out with trash and you start to smell like garbage".

Personal life

In addition to being the wife of Albert Manzo, who runs The Brownstone, a catering facility in Paterson, NJ that has been with the family for over 30 years, Caroline Manzo is the mother of three children: Albie, Lauren, and Christopher. Although Caroline spends the majority of her time running the household, she recently launched a new concept, Caroline Manzo, Family, Faith, & Charity, a collection of handbags and accessories available in Fall of 2011. Caroline is also affiliated with several charities including Best Friends Animal Society; CROC, a foundation dedicated to helping cancer survivors; Rescue Ink; SCTNOW, a foundation dedicated to stopping child trafficking within U.S. borders; and Wounded Warriors Project.

Production history

The show's first season premiered on May 12, 2009. The five housewives featured on the program were Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, and Danielle Staub. For the first time in the franchise, the series follows housewives who are related to one another: sisters Caroline and Dina are married to brothers Albert and Tommy Manzo, and Jacqueline Laurita is married to Caroline and Dina's brother, Chris Laurita. The series began airing in the UK on Channel 4 on Tuesday 1 September 2009 at 10:35pm. and finished on November 3, 2009

The show premiered its second season on May 3, 2010. Dina Manzo left the show after the seventh episode of the second season. On August 31, 2010 Bravo officially renewed the series for a third season.On September 7, 2010, it was announced that Danielle Staub was not returning to the show.

Season 2 premiered in the UK October 17, 2010.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 3 premiered on Monday May 16, 2011, on Bravo.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey was renewed for season 4 on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Filming for the next season has not been announced nor has there been any official confirmation regarding the cast.

Now the reality star's career has taken another turn, as it was revealed she had signed up to work as a stripper.

The
48-year-old has signed a three-year deal with a 'gentlemen's club' in
New York which will see her give one live performance and appear on the
club's website.

According to celebrity gossip site TMZ Staub will go 'fully nude' for the club.

Bayonne resident Melissa Gorga joins 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' cast

From Bayonne resident to one of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," Melissa Gorga, a real Renaissance woman, has worked her way to stardom.


Gorga, 32, has joined the hit reality-TV series for Season 3. She is in fact already part of the TV family. Her husband Joeis the brother of Real Housewives star Teresa Giudice.


A Toms River native, Gorga moved to Bayonne in 2001 andlanded a job as a tanning consultant at Tropical Tanning located at 421 Broadway in Bayonne while studying to be a teacher at New Jersey City University in Jersey City.


Gorga, who describes herself as a bubbly Italian girl, rented an apartment with girlfriends at 31st Street and Avenue E before graduating with a B.A. degree in elementary education.

Crazy moments like this have people wondering if reality shows should include kids at all.


What caused the RHONJ christening fight? Seems words were exchanged
(they always are!) between Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga.
Teresa’s husband is married to new RHONJ cast member Melissa Gorga.


In this Today show interview, you can see all heck break out at the
christening, but the ladies aren’t revealing too much about the hows
and the whys, more or less teasing that you have to watch to find out
because “it’s extremely deep,” according to Gorga. She adds, “It’s
real” and “There’s a lot of emotions going on.”


Gorga mentioned that it was “unfortunate” that the cameras caught it
all. Helloo?? You’re on a reality show… of course there are cameras
rolling!


While the focus of RHONJ isn’t on the kids, they are, of course,
included in the filming of the series. This Real Housewives’
christening fight is a doozy – there are children everywhere at a
family gathering like this. Is it fair to the kids to subject them to
this kind of drama? Would an outbreak like this even go down if there
weren’t cameras to capture it all?

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Promise to Kick Off New Season With a Bang (VIDEO)

You won't have to wait long for the first fight of the season when 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' kicks off tonight. This morning on 'Today'
(weekdays, 7AM on NBC), the Housewives previewed the new season, and
the highlight so far is a bit of a tussle at the christening of Melissa
Gorga's son.



"It's really deep," said Gorga. "It's real. There's a lot of emotions
going on. It's unfortunate. The cameras caught it all. It happens."



Of course, someone points out that everyone knows the
cameras are rolling, and Gorga said it was something she worried about
for months. The general consensus amongst the Housewives is that you
take the good with the bad. The bad seems to be what most people are
tuning in to watch.
