Uau. Quase uma semana sem postar. Um novo "recorde". A vida tem estado über complicada, mas graças a Deus parece que tudo se resolverá. A viagem ainda não aconteceu; ficamos por aqui para resolver os problemas. Mas, se resolvermos tudo como esperamos, segunda-feira partiremos na nossa semaninha de férias. A máquina ainda está morta - mais um problema a ser resolvido - e o calor tem estado infernal, à lá Rio de Janeiro.

Pelo menos acho que a vida agora voltará ao normal, e eu poderei colocar as novidades em dia por aqui. Os deixo com o comercial de um novo reality show do Reino Unido que provavelmente será meu novo vício de verão: o Don't Stop Believing. Apresentado pela "Baby Spice" Emma Bunton, ele é um programa de música que o Five resolveu colocar no ar para fazer frente ao X Factor de Simon Cowell. Achei o comercial super bem feito - fazer um mash-up de oito músicas diferentes não é fácil... e até agora, nenhum episódio de Glee fez isso!





Espero que gostem - e também espero voltar ao normal. Não prometo mais porque pelo visto prometer é não cumprir...

Cores do inverno - Winter colours

Pois é, tô voltando aos poucos. Cheguei em casa ontem bem tarde, quase 11 da noite. Estou oficialmente morta e nossa viagem de férias, que começaria amanhã, só começará na 5a feira. Preciso de férias antes das férias, senão morro. Hoje ou amanhã faço um post contando como foi o curso e mais coisas de Londres.

Por enquanto um postzinho pequeno porém bem informativo que a R29 fez e eu repasso: quais são as cores-destaque desta nova temporada outono/inverno 2010-11. Difícil pensar nessas coisas quando os termômetros estão nos 36 graus por aqui (pelo menos em Londres tava mais *simpático* o calor), mas só de pensar que daqui a um mês e alguns dias já é setembro...

Por isso, vamos ao que interessa. Todo mundo já sabe que inverno por aqui significa toneladas de preto, cinza chumbo, grafitti, cinza médio, azul marinho e acinzentado, com pinceladas de cor. Mas foi legal ver que esse inverno o pessoal pesou a mão nas cores, sem se preocupar em refletir a realidade das lojas - que só colocam cores escuras à venda. Aliás, do pouco que já vi das novas coleções que entram nas lojas, a tomada dos tons "nudes" e "neutros" é total. Eles colocam essas peças misturadas às promoções e a transição do guarda-roupa de verão para o de inverno é quase imperceptível - mudam os materiais e as construções e, mesmo assim, levemente. Boa jogada.

Mas quais serão as cores que estarão presentes em outubro, novembro, dezembro? Além das cores "usuais" que já vimos serem utilizadas por diversos invernos (tons metálicos, vermelho, verde oliva e roxo), surgiram duas cores inesperadas, o camelo e o azul bebê. O camelo - que já foi utilizado em invernos anteriores mas foi esquecido por um bom tempo - voltou como uma bomba e está presente em tudo. E o azul bebê foi inesperado mas, ao mesmo tempo, muito bem utilizado. Vejam as representações dos desfiles e confiem - já vi alguma coisa com essas cores nas novas coleções.

Yes, I'm back. After a week away, here am I, talking about new season stuff. I'll try to post about London and the St. Martins course tomorrow since I'm still VERY knackered, and I hope I'll go back to my usual self. This weekend we're heading out to the South of France, north of Italy and Switzerland, so lots of new stuff to talk about. In the meantime, a small post about the new colours for autumn/winter 2010-11, courtesy of R29. 

We all know that winter means tons of black, darker shades of grey and blue, but there were lavishing splashes of colour on the catwalks this season. Designers didn't care much about "reality" and pretended that shops didn't just sell black stuff for winter. The result was interesting and two "new" colours stood out: camel and icy baby blue. Camel has been used for winter in past seasons but has seemed to be forgotten. This season it came back in full force and is what everyone is talking about. The icy baby blue was the "breath of fresh air" colour; it seemed out of place and yet it belonged perfectly. Apart from those, lots of some "usual" winter colours: red, purple, olive green and rusty metallics.

From the new stuff I've seen on the shops in London, a lot of those colours are being translated into reality, so I'd keep my eyes open cause come December we'll be spoilt for choice of items in those colours.

Eu sei, eu sei... Prometi e não cumpri. Não pensem que não está na minha cabeça, pois sempre está. Mas, como havia dito antes, a banda larga aqui tá finíssima e, pra ser bem sincera, eu tô muito cansada. Estou na casa de amigos e assim fica mais difícil de ter a privacidade necessária pra quando se faz uma "business trip". De poder chegar do curso e relaxar, fazer os trabalhos com calma e dormir cedo para estar de pé no dia seguinte. E, pra completar, estou atrasada hoje. E num passo de cágado brabo. Ainda bem que é o último dia. Amanhã tenho mais horas de sono, um Margiela pra ver e possivelmente uma Grace Kelly pela tarde (se a exibição ainda tiver por lá).

Os sales ainda acontecem, Oxford St. continua opressora com seus milhares de passantes, as pequenas coleções de inverno que já vi estão nudes, nudes, nudes. Fácil pra transição, imagino eu. O problema é que a vida útil do nude é curta - e honestamente, não vi muita coisa nova que me deixou ansiosa e feliz. Não comprei nada - pra quem me conhece, isso é sinônimo de: as lojas tão realmente desencorajadoras e o curso tá realmente usando todos os neurônios do meu cérebro.

O bom é que domingo tá aí e eu vou relaxar. Felicidade extrema.
