Bus Skyway

A bus driver died while five people were injured after a passenger bus fell off the Skyway in Sucat, Parañaque on Tuesday morning, said the Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNCC).
Four victims were sent to Parañaque Medical Center, while two others were rushed to Parañaque Doctors Hospital.
The bus driver, Joven Justel, was declared dead on arrival at 12:20 p.m. due to massive bleeding and trauma to the abdomen, while three of the injured victims were identified as bus conductor Jonathan Alibar, Lorenzo Gabo and Anthony Abarra.
The identities of the two other victims who were injured has yet to be named as of presstime. Initial investigation disclosed that the Dimples Star Transport bus bearing body number 7511 and plate number KYW-606 driven by Justel was on its way to Alabang, Muntinlupa when it crashed on the west service road near Sucat exit before 11:00 a.m.
The bus fell more than 40 feet high from the Skyway to the ground of the west service road.
Authorities noted that the airconditioned bus was in total wreck after the incident where Skyway vice president Ed Nepomuceno said in a radio interview that the incident was recorded on CCTV camera.
It was learned that the bus driven by Justel was reportedly racing with another bus traversing at the speed of 60km/ph along the Skyway when Justel lost control of the wheel because of the strong wind and slippery road.
The incident caused heavy traffic along the area, but the bus was later towed by the authorities at past 1:00 p.m.
