Amy Winehouse Funeral Held in London

Amy Winehouse has been laid to rest. Producer Mark Ronson and her good friend Kelly Osbourne, wearing her hair piled up in a beehive like Winehouse’s, attended the burial at Edgwarebury Cemetery in north London. A convoy of black vehicles with tinted windows silently made its way inside the Edgwarebury Cemetery in north London this lunchtime for the private service.

Her father, Mitch, read out a eulogy before the funeral finished with the congregation singing her favourite song. Music producer Mark Ronson and TV star Kelly Osbourne were among the famous faces at the 45-minute service, held at Edgwarebury Cemetery in Edgware.

A family spokesman said the ceremony for the troubled 27-year-old, who was found dead at her north London home on Saturday, will be confined to family and close friends. He did not disclose the location or the time. Among the mourners was Kelly Osbourne, one of her best friends who flew into the UK from Los Angeles as soon as she the news about her death.

A post-mortem on her body has failed to reveal the cause of death. Police are not treating it as suspicious, however. Between 300 and 400 people attended, according to family friend Alfie Ezekiel, 55, from Essex.
