Bad Boss Alert: Paula Deen's filthy food secrets.

Publication: National Enquirer
Date: 20 June 2011

Fresh trash tomorrow! Last trash of the week... right now!

I know that online gossip and supermarket gossip do not aim at the same demographic, so I have no idea if Paula Deen sells magazines or not. All I know is that her fans find the posts I put up here on this blog with astonishing regularity. This week, a disgruntled former employee says Ms. Deen eats off customers' plates and sticks her filthy fingers in their food.

Stay classy, Enquirer!

Shocking secrets of America's top celebrity chefs!

Publication: National Examiner
Date: 23 May 2011

Fresh trash tomorrow! Last trash of the week... right now!

The low rent Examiner thinks people want to hear trash about Rachel Ray. From what I have seen of the traffic to my website, I'm not sure they are right.

On the other hand, it's usually the Enquirer who prints trash about Paula Deen, and my website gets a lot of hits any time her name comes up.

Meanest Story nominee: Paula Deen suicide shocker!

Publication: National Enquirer
Date: 23 May 2011

Of all the celebrity chefs, Paula Deen is the one the Three Wicked Step Sisters like to pick on the most. This time it's the Enquirer saying the police found six empty pill bottles in her home.

Maybe she's just not tidy.

This is a nominee for Meanest Story of the Week.

Not Long 4 This World Alert: Paula Deen battles deadly disease!

Publication: National Enquirer
Date: 9 May 2011

The Flagship puts Paula Deen on the tabloid death watch this week, but at the very lowest level, the "battling deadly disease" level. Others on this list are Bill Clinton, Cher and Portia de Rossi. If I put stock in what the vultures of the gossip press say, I would say Bill and Cher are in more dire straits because they have also been given the "xxx months to live treatment". Still, the track record of the tabloids when they say someone is near death has been pretty weak.

Best wishes to Paula Deen, her family and friends.

Also, you might want to try less butter in some of those recipes. Just sayin'.
