BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS WHITE CARPET

So Cannes is now over, and here are the Billboard Music Awards. Sad to say but the red carpet, I mean the "white carpet" was a bit of a let down in Sin City of all places!!! The color of the night was black, womp womp...where is the color when it's practically summer time!!!



BEYONCE: the "Artist of the Millenium" opted for a long sleeve Lanvin cocktail dress. Good thing she showed off the goods in her performance outfit, but Beyonce needed to shine more for her big day.

SELENA GOMEZ: this sexy songstress being amongst the youngest of the musicians, looked the most daring in this Dolce & Gabbana haltered black dress with high slit and cut out sides.

FERGIE: inspired by the S&M look, she strutted the white carpet in a Herve Leger by Max Azria Atlier dress. I wasn't feeling the leather detailing in the hip area, it was a bit too much and would've looked better if it was a tighter fit in that area.

KE$HA: now you'd think she would bring out the daring in Sin City, but Ke$ha toned it down from her usual "style" in a metallic sequined tulle and chiffon cut-out Jad Ghanour dress.

NICKI MINAJ: she literally sparkled in this light blue Mark Fast jumpsuit and bubblegum pink hair. Oohhh Nicki, she never seems to disappoint on any carpet, she brings it every time!!!

TAYLOR SWIFT: this angel definitely sparkled in Vegas with her Elie Saab gown that draped nicely on her tall figure, making her look very glamourous.

RIHANNA: kept it simple with an all white sleek Max Azria suit which stood out amongst her fire engine red hair. Anyone notice the low slit on her shirt though? Super low key.

KERI HILSON: looked like a dose of sunshine in this bright yellow Rachel Roy dress paired with a turquoise belt. Definitely feeling the bright color combo!

KELLY ROWLAND: she takes the prize on best dressed of the night with this hot pink Herve Leger dress. She totally embodies the womanly sexiness of Vegas, and she looks amazing without it being overdone.

SOFIA VERGARA BECOMES A COVERGIRL!!!

The beautiful Sofia Vergara will be newest the CoverGirl!!! The Modern Family star will join other beauties of the infamous brand including Drew Barrymore, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Sofia beams, "When you grow up, you look up to girls in the magazines, and you never think you're going to be that pretty, or that well made-up, or that glamorous. Latin girls can relate to me, see what I'm wearing, see my makeup, my hairstyle."

She is currently shooting her ad campaign which will debut in January 2012. Being the first Latina woman to represent CoverGirl is such a great thing because many females can relate to her. Sofia is so stunning, and what's important is that she embraces her curves, and doesn't promote an unhealthy lifestyle.

JOE JONAS: THE ULTIMATE HOLLYWOOD HEARTBREAKER

Joe Jonas, the metrosexual looking brother of the trio band of brothers, the Jonas Brothers is known for his Hollywood plethora of relationships and he's only 21!!!

His first victim was Taylor Swift, the country sweetheart. She had no problem ousting the details of everything Joe Jonas did wrong in their relationship. Taylor hinted that her next boyfriend would be someone who wasn't ashamed of going out in public with her. But what really shocked people was when she said he broke up with her in 27 seconds over the phone.

After meeting on the set of the Jonas Brothers music video "Lovebug", Joe soon after broke up with Taylor Swift and started dating actress Camilla Belle (though they look like they might be related, no?!). He wrote a song "Much Better" that was supposedly about find a better girlfriend than the previous relationship (implying Camilla > Taylor?!). Though it's not sure why Joe and Camilla broke up, many rumors started to circulate over her relationship with rising tennis star and fellow Brazilian Fernando Verdasco. Camilla claims that she prefers Brazilian men because they are more sensual and more comfortable with their sexuality. Joe Jonas was and currently admits to being heartbroken from this relationship because he wasn't ready to end this since Camilla broke up with him.

Next on his list was fellow Disney star Demi Lovato. After starring in Camp Rock together, they constantly denied their relationship until afterwards. For only a few months, they ended their romance on good terms. Joe Jonas insisted that it was "his choice" to break up with her, but that they still will remain great friends.

Now his latest break-up making headlines is with Twilight star Ashley Greene. After dating for almost a year, these two seemed very content in their relationship. Though he was busy with music and touring around the world, she was also always on set to film the latest movie of the Twilight saga. Recently both Joe and Ashley gushed about each other to different media outlets, but last week it was confirmed about their split up in amiable terms.

Which brings me to my next point, which Hollywood star will this Joe Bro have as his next victim? This serial dater seems to honestly be addicted to relationships. Supposedly since his ex Ashely Greene is rumored to already be seeing Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill, he has begun "flirting" via Twitter with Pretty Little Liars star Ashley B. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, not like it's going to take awhile before Joe Jonas jumps into another relationship!

Jake Gyllenhaal, hunky Hollywood actor who won great critical acclaim in Brokeback Mountain with Heath Ledger. Jake never caught my eye until Prince of Persia, a movie not really loved but audiences, except my mom and I. He caught my attention from this movie because of his physical transformation. Before Jake to me had some feminine qualities in the looks department, but Prince of Persia really brought out his manly qualities, his ethnic potential.
In the romance department, Jake Gyllenhaal tends to date, not to be blunt, but white women. Not to pick on him or anything, but I am writing this because I have a huge crush on him! And I'm trying to figure out why he goes for the same type of women in the looks department. Let's backtrack to his main romances during his Hollywood career.
Kirsten Dunst: around the same age, but plain Jane, Reese Witherspoon: older, great personality, pretty, great actress, but still kind of plain. Taylor Swift: way younger, she's younger than me! by a year haha, country superstar with too much baggage. What do these girls have in common? Blond hair and blue eyes.
What really though inspired this was his brief romance with Taylor Swift. Here's a girl who has dated Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, and Jack Gyllenhaal. Throughout all her whirlwind romances, comes another country love song that has fans relating to her every lyric. Though the story goes that Jake pursued Taylor with the help of mutual friend Gwyneth Paltrow, this relationships barely lasted 2 months, thank goodness. Taylor has too much baggage left in her to write a decade worth of songs, and it has to say something when men keep dumping her, and her having "no clue why." So not only has Joe Jonas dumped her on the phone, but so has Jake. And what made this cute-sy couple come to an end? Maybe Jake realized he shouldn't date someone considerably younger than him, especially one who has too much heartbreak to still deal with. I wonder if he got out just in time before we hear about another Taylor song on the radio.
Which brings me to my next point: Jake Gyllenhaal date some women of color! Like me! Haha. But seriously, maybe Jake should look into dating girls of mixed races, well at least something besides the usual Hollywood standard of blond hair and blue eyes. Look at Matthew McConaughey with Camila Alves, now that can give some hope to mixed couples and the next generation. How about some Mexican/Filippino to add some spice to your life. Holler!
