Investigators say 58-year-old Dennis Christopher Lee, who entered his plea Monday in a San Diego court, walked into the Starbucks on June 16 and asked for a cup of hot water, which are complimentary.
Police Officer Frank Cali says Lee then went to the condiment table and began taking items. Cali tells City News Service that Lee threw the hot water at the barista when she told him the condiments were for paying customers only.
