When Lady Gaga showed up to the 2010 MTV Music Awards wearing raw roast beef, we thought, "Grody." But now thecontroversial meat dress is heading to a museum!
That's right -- Lady Gaga's carne couture will be put on display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power exhibit.
But the MTV Music Awards were months and months ago -- won't the dress be rather rancid by now? Never fear -- Lady Gaga thought ahead and now it's a beef jerky dress.
"The dress was kept in a meat locker until the treatment was ready to begin," said a statement from the Hall of Fame. "It was then placed in a vat of chemicals and, while still pliable, was put on a body form and allowed to dry."
The dress was also given a coat of paint to make it look juicy and delicious.
