Cali Swag District best known for their song Teach Me How to Dougie, lost one of their group members last night. The group who is based in Inglewood, found out that their home town can be a curse to them.
Rapper M-Bone [real name Montae Talbert], who was sitting in his car outside a liquor store on La Brea Avenue was shot twice in his head by a suspect who pulled up in a red Mustang. Witnesses say that they saw the Mustang come back to where the incident was, as if to make sure M-Bone was dead.
He was pronounced dead soon after at UCLA Medical Center, at the tender age of 22. Group leader of Cali Swag District, Smoove tweeted "Ma life changed drastically in the. Blink of an eye rip mbone." Check out some of their videos.
